SummitBridge.com exists today because of the Cold War vision of Capt. John Rivard, who on June 11, 1983, flew his C-45 into highly restricted Soviet airspace and risked being fired upon to capture a most strategic aerial photograph. This photograph was subsequently made into a poster and hand delivered to the leaders of both the United States and the Soviet Union, a copy of it is displayed on our promotion page... it is still of the highest strategic significance.
At the center of this Cold War image lies the one place under the Midnight Sun where Russia and America can connect the roads of all nations, and literally unite the world, beyond war.
